Italy, Marche - Top class show jumping training

It is a privilege to be a welcome guest at this exclusive Country house and show jumping centre. The entire property exudes quality, personal commitment and positive energy. You will have the opportunity to experience the good life, including show jumping and flat work  tuition on highly trained horses. 

As a rider and guest of Isabella and Franco, you are an important person. Together with your highly qualified Belgian trainer, Jochen, they will ensure the best possible show jumping week or weekend, based on your experience, situation and goals. The first class riding facility includes an elegant club house and a guest house and is hosted in the 60 acres property with unobstructed panoramic views of the stunning Marche’s countryside and of the historic town of Fermo.

Either you stay in the elegant guesthouse or in the century-old, beautifully renovated country house. On your spare time you can enjoy the two acres landscaped gardens with infinity pool, Jacuzzi tub, sun decks, gazebo, bbq and al-fresco dining areas. They host a limited number of guests at a time to offer high standards of hospitality, privacy, quality of service and accommodation. This is also an excellent destination for families and couples where not everyone rides, as there are golf courses, restaurants, beaches and nightlife within a short driving distance.

Program

Your instructor Jochen is a Belgian Grand Prix rider who speaks Dutch, French, German, Italian and  English. He is very knowledgeable and is instructing in a soft and efficient way.

Your training will be based after your prior knowledge and preferences. There will be flatwork with low jumps and the level of difficulty will be increased gradually with more obstacles, changed distances and series. The week program includes 10 lessons and weekend program 6 lessons.

Weekly program: Arrive on Sundays during afternoon/evening, check in from 2.00 pm, departure the following Saturday (before 11 am).

Weekend: Arrive Thursdays around 2.00 pm for a first lesson, departure Sundays after breakfast and last lesson (before 11 am). 

Day 1

  • Check-in from 2pm
  • Visit to the equestrian centre
  • Interview with the Instructor who is an accomplished Belgian rider who speaks English, Italian, German, Dutch and Flemish.
  • Select horses

Day 2-6 (7 days package) or Day 2-3 (4 days package)

  • Riding, twice per day. 

During summer months riding will be in the early morning and late afternoon hours.

  • After riding

free time can be spent at the stables and the Club House of the equestrian centre or at the landscaped gardens and infinity pool of the Country House. The Country House is about 300 meters away from the equestrian centre, within the same property.


 


 

Accommodation & food

There is individual double bedroom suites in the main house and a 2 bedrooms Guest House Apartment. 

Most rooms have mansard ceiling with reduced clearance on a side, skylight windows and floor-height windows with curtains, blinds and mosquito nets.
Daily maid housekeeping, Pool sunbeds and towels.
On your spare time you can enjoy the two acres landscaped gardens with infinity pool, Jacuzzi tub, sun decks, gazebo .
The packages do not include meals. You may choose to take the meals (breakfast and lunch) at the house or at local restaurants. If you stay in the Guest house you havre free use of fully equipped self-catering facilities. If you stay in double bedroom suites it is not possible to cook your own food. Instead your hosts can recommend nice restaurants in nearby villages.
As a guideline meals prices ranges are 25€ for breakfast, 35€ for brunch/lunch per person. All meals served are of the highest quality and a delight to eat.

The region has impressive art, architecture and history heritage ranging from the 11th century and sophisticated cultural traditions. Renowned towns, landmarks and villages offer great tourist destinations within 10 to 45 minutes’ drive time from the property. Fine arts and antique fairs, historic parades, theatres and music events as well as culinary festivals are frequent, especially in the summertime. Local cuisine, wines and olive oil are among the most valued in Italy. A great choice of restaurants, pubs and live music venues is available within 5 to 15 minutes’ drive time. Fashion designer factory outlets such as Prada, Todd's, Paciotti, Nero Giardini, Lory Blu and many other are within 30 minutes’ drive.
Sandy beaches, yacht marina, clay tennis courts and a 9 holes golf course are 15 minutes away. A 18 holes golf course is 45 minutes away.

Travel: 

  • Airplane: Closest airport is in Ancona, Ancona Falconara Airport (AOI) or you can fly to Rome, Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCP). There are flights to Ancona Airport (AOI) from Rome (Alitalia), Munich (Lufthansa), or London (Ryan Air).
  • Bus: You can choose a bus ride from Rome or from Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCP) (FlixBus) to Porto San Giorgio, 3,5 hours.
  • Ferry / boat: You can also travel by boat to Ancona seaport.
  • Train: You can arrive by booking a high-speed train (Trenitalia Frecciarossa or Frecciabianca) to Ancona railway station and a local train to Porto San Giorgio. TrenItalia>>

Transfer:  From Ancona Airport you take a taxi or rental car, 40 minutes (taxi about 150 EUR/way/car). If you arrive by bus or train  to Porto San Giorgio, we can book a taxi to the riding centre (12 km) about 35 EUR/way/car.
