Prelimininary program
Sunday - Arrival Coffee and cookie 15.00-16.30. Welcome meeting with a drink, information and video about Icelandic horses in the evening.
Monday - Riding in Vadehavet and lesson- Green ride 1 hour ride for beginners and small children. The week begins with a 25 minute lesson in the riding arena. You will learn how to get your horse to walk, how to stop it and how to turn. You get to try walk and trot. When the riding teacher has taught everyoine you will go ride outside. The ride goes in a calm way past Römöhus, along the horse fields and out to the sea. You follow the coast up to the guest areas towards the camping site and back to the stable where it is time to get off the horse.
Tuesday - 2 hours Kirkeby Plantation ride + tolt - The ride goes along nice little roads to the Vråby plantation. During the ride, deer often stand and graze and watch the riders pass. Then over the heath and out to the Kirkeby plantation, where there are many nice riding trails. You will pass Römö's highest point, Spietsbierg.
Thursday - 2 hour ride - Today it will be a mixed ride in the forest and on the beach. You feel more and more at home in the saddle. So you can increase the tempo a bit.
Thursday - 2-3 hours Sönderbeach- Today you ride on Sönderbeach on the west side of Römö. Here, the finest sandy beach stretches along the entire length of the island. The beach is open and flat, which means that the opportunities to find amber are good. The northernmost part of the beach is blocked off as a military zone, while the rest of the beach can be used freely. The view is miles long, sand and sea.
Friday - Resting dag - Today your body gets rest after all the riding. Depending on the season, there is a lot to choose from. The beach is always popular whether you can swim or not. Or why not take advantage of the wellness department.
Saturday - 2 hour ride - Today is your last two-hour ride along the beach and in the forest.
Sunday - Departure after breakfast.
